Much to our surprise, Philadelphia magazine selected our bank as the Best of Philly 2007 among community banks. What surprised us the most was that we were selected without even submitting a nomination. Needless to say, this was a fun communication to ghost write for the CEO to send to all employees.

As a community bank, we took pride in the work we did in the communities we served. Not just because it was good for business, but because it was the right thing to do. I enjoyed writing this letter from our CEO that was emailed to all employees congratulating our CRA lending team.

When we introduced the employee referral incentive program, I was the person to communicate it to everyone. This was one of my pet projects, and it was fun to work with the product teams that designed the program.

We may think that online banking isn't exactly newsworthy. But back in 2007, it was just starting to become a big thing. I drafted this communication to all employees to help them understand the tools we had available for personal and business banking customers.

This was the packet of information I put together for an affinity banking program. The program consisted of a banking relationship with a non-profit organization and its employees and clients. Participating organizations that have their banking relationship with us, would earn a percentage of the month-end balance of personal checking accounts held with the bank.
