Welcome! I am a Pittsburgh-area native living in Philadelphia (via New Jersey and Florida). My product/content marketing and communications experience has spanned several industries and a host of duties. The content on this site reflects the work of which I'm most proud.

Please take a look around and see what makes me tick.

About Me

I am a marketing and communications professional with 25 years of diverse experience in corporate marketing, public relations and public affairs, athletics, higher education and nonprofits.

As a marketing manager, I’m proud to say I’ve produced campaigns that have won national awards, planned events for senior managers, sales and relationship teams ranging from 15 to 300+ attendees and created content that has been used for digital, print and social media platforms. I’ve overseen product launches that used print, public relations, digital and online content to tell stories. I’ve executed and rolled out a company-wide social media enablement program that onboarded more than 150 subject matter experts to different social platforms, and also managed social media for corporate profiles and senior manager personal handles.

As a communications professional, I’ve worked closely with national media outlets, coordinated executive team communications and the planning process to distribute them effectively — both internally and externally. And, unfortunately, my experience in crisis communications has ranged from the death of a student athlete on a high-profile, nationally-ranked college football team to the sudden, unexpected departure of a senior management team, as well as a community retail bank that was in financial distress.

I have worked at world-class institutions of higher learning (Princeton University and the University of Florida) and corporate offices of some recognizable brands (Citizens Financial Group and The Bank of New York Mellon and its affiliates). My most recent experience (for the past 18 years) has been in financial services technology product marketing and communications.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication from Penn State University. In fact, we are true Penn State blue bloods — no less than six members of my immediate family are Nittany Lions. Additionally, I earned a Certificate in Innovation Sciences from the H. John Heinz III College at Carnegie Mellon University.

In my spare time, I’m a championship-level college and high school basketball referee and I also continue to play baseball in a Sunday adult league during the spring/summer. While I am a Pittsburgh native, I have become a die-hard Philadelphia Phillies fan. My wife and I were once season ticket holders and took our kids to a World Series game in 2022. Despite the Phillies being on the wrong side of history that night (the Astros threw a no-hitter), it was a wonderful experience to be there as a family.

Speaking of my family ... my wife, Julie (also a Penn Stater ... we met there), and I are immensely proud of Aaron (17), Faith (15) and Claire (11). We also have two completely insane dogs (Daphne and Mia) and a house in the suburbs with a white picket fence (honestly … it’s true).
